Rhodes Headed To Usc

Former Kentucky forward Rodrick Rhodes announced he will transfer to USC in the fall.

Rhodes, who played three years at Kentucky, asked for and was granted a release from his scholarship on June 26. This came after he declared for the NBA draft following his junior season, but withdrew his name before draft day.

A consensus top 5 recruit when he arrived at Kentucky, Rhodes has not played to those expectations. He was advised to declare for the draft by Kentucky coach Rick Pitino. However, when Rhodes changed his mind, Kentucky already had given away its allotment of scholarships.
