Outdoor Mural Project-Northeast Community Center &Gonzaga Art Department

Laura Truitt Assistant Professor of Painting and Drawing Gonzaga University, visiting mural artist Daniel Lopez and 11 students will be laying out and painting a mural on the North wall in the Northeast Community Center’s entry corridor. This collaboration aims to build social awareness by getting art students from Gonzaga University connected in a practical way with the Northeast Community Center; art making the “Center” warm and inviting and less institutional while providing students experience in organizing and working with local nonprofits.
