Cyclists and non-cyclists alike, listen to my words.

This Sunday marks the eighth annual Spokefest, in which many, many people hop on to the saddle and ride their bikes all around our glorious land.

For the wary, know that this is not a race, but a joyous ride where there's no pressure. Just fun times. There's even a one-mile loop around Riverfront Park, with a bike safety rodeo, which teaches novice riders the basics of biking. And free coffee!

And for the pavement pounders, there's a 50-mile ride that takes the Centennial Trail to the Seven Mile Bridge... and beyond! And there's free snacks.

Is there food and drink? Yes. Will there be vendors and booths? Yes. Is it too late to register? No!

Go here for details.

Now, for maps.

Here's a map of the Great Harvest 1-Mile Loop.

Here's the route for the Columbia Medical Associates 9-mile Loop.

Here's the REI 21-Mile Loop.

And finally, here's the map for the Spokesman Outdoors Half Century.

What a lung buster!

Get on your bike and get on down. I'll be there and tweeting all about it. Follow me @NickDeshais and tweet, and ride, along.
