Washington States football game at Nevada has been moved to Friday, Sept. 5 at 7:30 p.m. to accommodate a nationally televised broadcast. The game, originally scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 6, will be televised either on ESPN or ESPN2.
Last season the Cougars had two games televised on ESPNU and three on ESPN, including their New Mexico Bowl appearance.
The trip to Reno will be WSU’s first road game of the season, following the opener against Rutgers on Aug. 28, which will be played at Seattle’s CenturyLink Field.
The Cougars will then return to Pullman to host Portland State the next weekend, the first of six games to be played at Martin Stadium in 2014. The regular season will finish with the annual Apple Cup rivalry game against Washington, in Pullman, which will once again be played on the Saturday following Thanksgiving, after being played on Friday the past two seasons.
