WSU rounds out non conference schedule with MVSU, kids clinic afterwards

From Pullman -- Washington State (6-5) will play its last non conference basketball game of the regular season tomorrow, taking on the Delta Devils at 5 p.m. in Beasley Coliseum. It's about to get real for the Cougars, who tipoff the Pac-12 season next Thursday on the road against No. 1 Arizona.

Think about that. The Wildcats, in theory, would be favored against Duke, Kentucky, Syracuse, Louisville, Michigan State, and the of them. Gosh. Still, first thing's first and the Cougars will first have one more tuneup against 3-7 Mississippi Valley State.

The Delta Devils have a suspect defense, and are allowing opposing teams to make over 50 percent of their field goal attempts.

About half an hour after the game, the Cougars will host a free kids clinic for children in K-6 who attended the game. Register at wsucougars.com
