Burn restrictions lifted
The burn restrictions imposed in Spokane Valley, Millwood and Liberty Lake in early August will be lifted today, according to a press release from the Spokane Valley Fire Department. The restrictions applied to open burning and recreational fires. However, a permanent ban on yard waste fires is still in place.
