The Slice

Should we put fluoride in swimming pool water?

Here's my thinking on this.

We already dose public pools with chlorine, right? And kids have been known to swallow copious amounts of pool water, right?

Well, ingesting small amounts of chlorine must not cause great harm. But why not put something in the water that might actually do some good?

And, of course, parents who do not approve of fluoride can keep their children out of the pool.
