RIVERS -- Avista is completing spill gate maintenance work at its Little Falls Dam, which requires the Little Falls Reservoir to be drawn down over the next few months.

This work will begin on Monday, July 11, and is scheduled to be completed within 12 weeks.

Work requires the reservoir to be lowered as much as 6 feet beginning Sunday, July 10, through Monday afternoon. 

The reservoir will remain at least 3 feet down for up to an additional 12 weeks, Avista said.
