Huckleberries Online

Onset asks: Biggest flap?

Onset asks: What was the most memorable kerfuffle of the Huckleberries Online Era?

  • Amaro / Mitchell Judicial Campaign
  • Bill Douglas / Kalani Email flap
  • Attempted Recall
  • Cavers opposition to the Kroc Center / Dirtgate

DFO: You bring back such pleasant memories. I would add: Taming the Wild West gang who threatened to take over Huckleberries in the early days. That was like fighting Wild Cats. Tubob, Any Mouse, Phaedrus (in his hey day), Sisyphus, etc. Those guys almost drove me into early, early retirement. Also, the time that Commissioner Gus Johnson kicked Huckleberries Online out of the courthouse, only to be opposed by a county clerk named Dan English. The most fun flap? Mitchell/Amaro. The most important flap? Helping stop the mad attempt by Mary Souza and Kathy Sims to recall superb Mayor Sandi Bloem & the 3 council amigos.

Q: Which flap did you like best?
