Labrador for Interior secretary?

Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers may no longer be a sure-thing for winning a nomination to be Interior secretary

Politico is reporting that President-elect Donald Trump now is considering Idaho Rep. Raul Labrador, who represents the congressional district immediately to the east of McMorris Rodgers’ district, for Interior secretary, as well as Rep. Ryan Zinke of Montana.

Politico’s sources say that McMorris Rodgers still is considered the frontrunner.

Labrador met with Trump at Trump Tower in New York on Monday, and hinted afterward to reporters that they’d discussed a role for him in the new Trump administration.

Many newspapers reported on Friday that McMorris Rodgers likely would be selected by Trump for Interior secretary/SR.
