Copstead: Glad I Voted To Fire Mary

On his Facebook wall, former Coeur d'Alene councilman Chris Copstead said he's glad he voted to fire Mary Souza:

This Coeur d'Alene City Council race has been the ugliest thing that I've seen in my years in this wonderful community. I'm so proud to support Steve Widmyer for Mayor and Kiki Miller, Amy Wallace Evans and Woody McEvers for City Council. All four have continued to take the "high road" and truthfully tell what they stand for. I'm so proud to be their friend. Kudos to a few of the other candidates for following suit; Joe and Amber. I admire your status. Mary Souza and her team have proven to me that they are very ugly people with half truths, words taken out of context and ugly attacks on individuals. Mary has reaffirmed my decision as a councilman some years ago to fire her from the CDA Planning Commission. I truly fear for our great community if she should be elected.
