Work crews are removing shingles from the top of the old chicken shack building across from the Coeur d'Alene office of The Spokesman-Review (and just east of the Skate Park). I'd guess that the city is preparing to bulldoze the long-vacant building. Last week, I noticed dozers pushing ground around north of the sewage treatment plant in preparation for sewer expansion.
