What happened: Jamison Kizziar threw three touchdown passes and the Vikings (1-0) held off a fourth quarter comeback to beat the defending 5A champion Trojans (0-1) in a nonleague season opener at University of Montana in Missoula on Friday. Rigby scored twice late, including a 3-yard run from returning 5A state player of the year Luke Flowers with 1:29 remaining, but the Vikings hung on for the upset. Coeur d'Alene had four interceptions, two by linebacker Jayson Cady in the first half.
