A woman was injured early Tuesday after her car crashed through a guardrail at East Dishman-Mica Road and South Madison Road.

Spokane County Fire District 8 firefighters arrived about 1 a.m. after the driver already had exited the car that had come to rest in a ditch, said Lonnie Rash, assistant fire chief.

The driver complained of back pain and was transported to a local hospital, Rash said. She was in stable condition on scene.

The driver was the only occupant of the vehicle in the crash, Rash said.
