Prep soccer roundup: Lewis and Clark ousted from 4A regional crossover

Jesus Meraz Rodriguez scored twice in regulation, Oscar Cortez had an assist and scored the winning goal in the shootout, and Pasco beat visiting Lewis and Clark 3-2 on Saturday in a loser-out, winner-to-state game of the Greater Spokane League/Mid-Columbia Conference 4A regional playoffs.

Toppenish 2, East Valley 1: Moises Mancillas and Roberto Rosales scored and Toppenish beat the Knights in a 2A Great Northern League/Central Washington Athletic Conference loser-out crossover game on Saturday at Albi Stadium.

Debay Bernandez scored in the 59th minute for for East Valley.

Cheney 1, Othello 0: Noah Prophet scored the game’s only goal on a first-half penalty and the Blackhawks eliminated host Othello 1-0 in a loser-out crossover game.

Cashmere 3, Colville 1: Cashmere rallied with three second-half goals to defeat host Colville 3-1 on Saturday in a 1A regional crossover game.

Alberto Cisneros put the Indians in front with a 23rd-minute goal, but Colville was eliminated after the Bulldogs responded.
