U.S. can’t take in more refugees

So there are hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants flooding into Europe from the impoverished, war-torn Middle East seeking a better life. America has had that same problem for decades on our southern border, and we have over 11 million people, many who came to escape impoverished, drug-war torn Mexico and Central America.

We have enough on our hands already without tens (hundreds?) of thousands more to drain our welfare systems. America is over $18 trillion in debt, and it is fiscally irresponsible to accelerate that burden.

We have been taking in 70,000 United Nations designated refugees for years as it is. We are already doing far more than “our fair share” when you include the undocumented immigrants mentioned above.

Besides, the FBI has testified that it is impossible to vet these “Syrian” refugees due to the chaos there, and smugglers are selling counterfeit Syrian passports to refugees regardless of their original country. Moreover, there are news reports that ISIS has infiltrated its fighters into the refugee camps and beyond to get them into Western countries.
