Obituary: Kristofferson, Darwin G. “Kris”

Age 66

KRISTOFFERSON, Darwin G. “Kris” (Age 66) Mr. Kristofferson passed away November 10th, 2013 after a long battle with lung disease.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; two children, Michelle Torgerson and Michael Kristofferson, their spouses Jeff and Melanie and three grandchildren, Sawyer, Addison and Aiden.

They live in Washington.

A third child, Matthew, passed away in 1983 at the age of 10.

Darwin is also survived by brothers and sisters Richard, Gloria, Karen, Janice, Rolland, David, and Loretta who reside in South Dakota and Minnesota.

Darwin was an avid freshwater fisherman and a skilled wood worker and with wife, Mary, used his wood working talent to create a small business.

He was a patriotic man, honorably serving his country in the Air Force for 22 years.

Upon retiring he worked for the Boeing Company for the next 13 years.

A memorial service will be held on January 20th, 2014 at 1PM at the Spokane First Church of the Nazarene, 9004 Country Blvd, in north Spokane.

A brief reception at the church will follow the service.
