Balanced Vikings pull away from Sandpoint
Sara Chalich led four players in double figures with 16 points Tuesday as the Coeur d’Alene Vikings (2-0) pulled away from the visiting Sandpoint Bulldogs (1-3) for a 59-46 nonleague win.
Sydni Parker led CdA with five steals, five assists and four rebounds.
The Vikings led by 20 points with 46 seconds to go.
Post Falls 59, Moscow 53: Hannah Bodman and Olivia Ellison combined for 17 points and 15 rebounds to help the host Trojans (2-0) beat the Bears (0-4).
Lakeland 46, St. Maries 39: Senior center Kelly Ramus finished with 20 rebounds and 15 points while leading the Hawks (1-3) past the Lumberjacks (1-2) at Rathdrum.
Lakeland’s Emily Vanderhoof added 14 points and six steals.
Kelsi and Kerstin Auer combined for 19 points for the Lumberjacks.
