Obituary: Taylor, Dolores June “Dodie”

Age 84

TAYLOR, Dolores June “Dodie” January 13, 1929 to February 5, 2013 My wife, our mother, and grandmother left this world wrapped in the arms of our Lord, surrounded by the family she loved.

Dolores “Dodie” Taylor passed away at home after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Home, family, and friends were her greatest pleasures.

She had the unique ability to make everyone feel welcome and part of her family.

She loved everyone unconditionally, no matter where they were in life.

She always prepared wonderful meals, making her home the place everyone wanted to be.

When she was younger, she loved to square dance, play games, and sing with the Sweet Adelines.

Dodie was a devoted mother and grandmother and was especially proud to be a great-grandmother.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Spokane for the wonderful care they gave to mom.

Dodie is survived by her husband of 65 years, Bill; as well as her five children; nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren (one more on the way).

Rest in peace Mom.

A celebration of her life is being planned for, May 5, 2013.
