Julia takes Walk goof in stride

Julia Louis-Dreyfus is getting her due – and a do-over.

The Emmy-winning “New Adventures of Old Christine” actress got a star Tuesday on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

But it read “Luis” instead of “Louis,” and there was no hyphen between Louis and Dreyfus.

Louis-Dreyfus, the first “Seinfeld” cast member to make the Walk, was philosophical about the flub.

“Right when you think you’ve made it, you get knocked down,” she said. “It’s an ideal metaphor for how this business works.”

A spokeswoman for the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce said it would install a new, correctly spelled star and send Louis-Dreyfus the mistaken one as a souvenir.

The last star recipient whose name was misspelled was Dick Van Dyke in 1993.

Brett gets another shot

Bret Michaels has been released from a Phoenix hospital and is expected to make a full recovery after suffering a brain hemorrhage last month.

Doctors recommended that the 47-year-old rock singer and “Celebrity Apprentice” contestant wait at least four to six weeks before resuming normal activity.

Michaels tells People magazine the hemorrhage “sounded like a handgun” and made his mind go almost blank.

Drugs didn’t kill Corey

Actor Corey Haim died from pneumomia, not a drug overdose, according to an autopsy report.

The former child star had traces of several prescription and over-the-counter drugs in his system, but that didn’t contribute to his death, the report says.

Haim, 38, died March 10 after collapsing in his mother’s apartment.
