Lawyer appointed court commissioner
Spokane attorney Rachelle E. Anderson has been appointed as Court Commissioner for Spokane County Superior Court. She replaces James Triplet, who was appointed in November as a Superior Court judge by Gov. Chris Gregoire.
Anderson will start in her new post on Dec. 10, according to a Spokane County news release.
Anderson is a 1994 graduate of Eastern Washington University and a 1997 graduate of Gonzaga University School of Law.
She has served as commissioner pro-tem for several years and most recently served as an administrative law judge. Before that, she worked 13 years as a lawyer specializing in family law cases.
