Venue for Delling murder trial still undecided

LEWISTON – Prosecuting attorneys from Latah County and Ada County met to discuss where John Delling will first stand trial but didn’t reach a decision.

Delling is charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of University of Idaho student David Boss in Moscow on March 31.

Police also have said Delling is a suspect in the death of Meridian resident and Boise State University student Bradley Morse in Boise a few days later, and the March 20 shooting of University of Arizona student Jacob Thompson.

Delling, Boss and Thompson were all former classmates at Timberline High School in Boise.

Delling, 21, is being held in the Ada County Jail on $2 million bond. He is also accused of stealing Morse’s car, and is charged with felony grand theft.
