Meeting on triplexes planned
A community meeting is scheduled for 7 tonight at Highland Park United Methodist Church, 611 S. Garfield St., on a proposal to build three townhouse-style triplexes at 712 S. Scott St, under the city’s planned unit development regulations. Owner and applicant is Mike Schmitz.
In other development news, a public hearing has been set for May 25 before the city hearing examiner on a proposed planned unit development of six units at 2223 W. Ohio Avenue. The Highbridge Point Condominiums are being proposed by applicant and owner John Woodhead Jr. The hearing will be at 9 a.m.
Also, an application has been submitted for a preliminary plat and planned unit development by Summer Walking LLC for construction of 26 single-family and duplex lots on five acres with three private streets at 3146 E. 44th Ave. Dave Wall is listed as the agent for the project.
