B.C. Plane Crash Victims Identified
The victims of a plane crash near this southern British Columbia community were identified Tuesday as a Creston husband and wife, the man’s daughter and a California man.
The wreckage of the singleengine Piper Cherokee was found Monday near Mount Ymir at the edge of the Whitewater ski area.
Killed in the crash were Joseph Wuetherick, 87, his wife, Marguerite, 68, both of Creston, his daughter Elaine Russell, 54, who lived in Sacramento, Calif., and Roy Lokey, 52, also from Sacramento.
Lokey is believed to have been piloting the plane.
