Coeur D’ Alene Offers Parades And Fireworks

A parade, fireworks and festivities will dazzle the senses in Coeur d’Alene this Fourth of July weekend.

Check out the following:

The Coeur d’Alene Kiddies Parade will run this morning at 10 a.m. starting at 10th and Sherman Avenue.

Kids and adults alike will enjoy the Fourth of July American Heroes Parade on Friday.

Three F-16 fighter jets will kick off the parade with a flyover at 11 a.m. A C-21 also will make several runs over the event.

More than 100 entries are expected to traverse downtown Coeur d’Alene, including the Presidential Air Force Color Guard and the Air Force Marching Band. Medal of Honor recipient Vernon Baker of St. Maries will be the grand marshal.

A fireworks display will burst over Lake Coeur d’Alene at dusk. The State Line Stadium Speedway will detonate its own fireworks at dark on Friday as well.
