ANALYSIS

The guess here is QB Rick Mirer has perhaps a half to get the Seahawks’ offense stirring before the home crowd - admittedly “crowd” might be too strong a word with roughly 45,000 expected - gets restless.

Keep an eye on Seattle’s play-calling. The coaching staff was second-guessed for not throwing downfield more against San Diego. Also, Hawks must find a way to get RB Chris Warren’s rush attempts near 20. He had only 13 last week.

Decisive matchup could be Hawks’ offensive line against a Denver front that had nine sacks against the New York Jets.

Hawks’ can’t possibly play worse than last week… . can they? They can’t afford to go 0-2 with Kansas City visiting next week. Hawks can get a win - if offense produces 24 points.
