Idaho Spikes Titans, Stays Hot At Home
Using a combination of explosive hitting and dominant net play, the University of Idaho captured its 17th volleyball win of the season Thursday night by beating Big West Conference foe Cal State Fullerton 15-7, 15-7, 15-7 in Memorial Gym.
Idaho has now won five straight at home after losing to Washington State in September.
The Vandals (17-2 overall, 6-1 in the Big West) hit an impressive .343 for the match, with Jessica Moore checking in at .579. The Titans (12-8, 2-5) hit just .098 for the match.
Idaho also outblocked Cal State Fullerton 12 to two as the front-row combination of Moore and Louisa Kawulok teamed for six blocks.
