Clinton Visits Young Bombing Survivors
President Clinton held a “warm, friendly conversation” Saturday morning with two young victims of the Oklahoma City bombing.
Brandon, 4, and Rebecca Denny, 3, and their parents, Jim and Claudia Denny, were invited to listen to Clinton’s weekly radio address, then chatted with him afterward in the Oval Office.
Brandon and Rebecca were in the second-floor day care center when the bomb exploded at the Alfred P. Murrah federal building on April 19, 1995. Brandon suffered head injuries and uses a wheelchair; Rebecca was injured when glass hit her face.
The family toured the White House and met first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton on Friday.
