Mongolia Blames China For Cholera

Compiled From Wire Services

A major transportation hub at the Chinese border in southern Mongolia has been shut because of a cholera outbreak, and the customs office has been moved 125 miles away.

Dzamyn Uud, some 370 miles south of Ulan Bator, has been quarantined and no one will be allowed in or out.

“We believe the disease is coming from China,” a local official said Friday.
