Junior captain Amber Hickman bagged a pair of penalty kicks to and the visiting Wildcats (9-8-1) beat the Suns (6-13) 2-1 in a 3A District 8 second place game on Saturday. Mt. Spokane earns the district's two-seed with the win and Southridge is eliminated. Julia Patterson scored the Suns' lone goal at the 23-minute mark.

Peyton Santos scored the winning goal in the 56th minute off a Reagan Santos assist and Southridge beat Mt. Spokane 2-1 on Saturday in a Washington 3A District 8 match. The Wildcats will play North Central in the consolation bracket on November 2.
