Jake Pfieffer scored 20 points to lead the Warriors over the Tigers 58-36 at Timberlake High School, and Kootenai moved one game closer to the state tournament. Anthony Ausman had a monster 16 rebounds to go with 11 points for the Warriors, who will play at St. Maries on Saturday against the second seed in District II, with the winner advancing to the state tournament. P.J. Placencio scored 12 points for the ousted Tigers.
