Gonzaga Prep struck early, but couldn't quite hold on as visiting Curtis scored a late goal to force a 1-1 draw Saturday. Becca Crum scored in the first minute off an assist from Trudi Timberman. The Bullpups held that lead for nearly the entire game, with keeper Zoe Boleneus making eight saves for Prep. But the Vikings scored one minute before full time to level the match.

Mead fell to visiting Curtis 2-0 in the season opener Friday at Mead. The Vikings jumped ahead early with two goals in quick succession. Lexxi Manning put the visitors up with a goal in the 10th minute, and Sariah Keister added the second just a minute later. The Panthers out-possessed and out-shot their guests, but couldn't find a breakthrough to get back in the game.
