Death notice
Scott Michael Harrison, 41, of Medical Lake, WA, passed away unexpectedly on September 9, 2024. He was born on March 3, 1983, in Spokane, WA. Scott is survived by his two children, Maddison Hebert and Jess Harrison; his parents, Randy and Bobbie Harrison; his sister, Cari Roderick (Sam); his brother, Matt Harrison; his long-time girlfriend, Ali Fino; two nephews, two nieces, and one great-niece. Scott attended Medical Lake High School, where he made long lasting friends. He had an enduring love for soccer. Scott started playing at age six and proudly wore #19 as a premier player on the River City Steelers. Scott never outgrew the joy of his childhood passions. Whether it was his lifelong adoration of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, where he proudly embodied Michelangelo while his girlfriend and kids represented the other turtles, or building Legos with his family, Scott knew how to keep the spirit of play alive. He even started a cherished Father’s Day tradition of building Lego sets together with his entire family. Priest Lake was Scott’s happy place, where he could often be found swimming, boating, hiking, or kayaking. He cherished his time as part of the mug club at the Priest Lake Brewery. Scott’s adventurous spirit shined brightest when he was orchestrating unforgettable experiences and ensuring everyone had a good time, even at the risk of embarrassing his kids with his bold outfits, like Chewbacca pajamas, Wonder Woman socks, or Ninja Turtle masks. Whether it was organizing family Fantasy Football leagues, March Madness pools, or making art on paint nights, Scott always found creative ways to bring people together. He carried on family traditions such as participating in annual fun runs like Bloomsday and dressing as Santa on Christmas Eve. As a huge Seahawks fan, Scott was always decked out in the team’s gear on game days. For the past few years, he was proud to be part of the Spokane GEG 1 Amazon team, where his positive, hard-working, spirit was evident every day. Scott was truly the most fun person to be around, and his ability to make every moment special will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
