We lost our force of nature suddenly on August 30, 2024. Beverly was such a cyclone of energy that her earthly body could not handle the force any longer. She shared her energy with everyone around her and always brought everyone up to her level of positivity and fun. Bev found success wherever she went, whatever she touched and whatever she attempted. She was so many things, a successful businesswoman, musician, hula dancer, chef, certified gemologist, but most of all, she was our family’s light. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Bev grew up in Hawaii and Montana. Graduating from CM Russell High School in 1973, and an alumna and volleyball and track athlete at the University of Montana. Predeceased by her father, John Ponikvar; mother, Justa (Anita) Ewald; and brother, Frank Ponikvar. Survived by wife, Kathleen Miller; son, Erik Danielson (Matthew); sister, Linda Ponikvar (Layne); brother, Richard Ponikvar, Charlotte Ponikvar; BFF, Kelly Ethier; and stepfather; Lyle Ewald. Auntie to JJ Williamson, Jess/April Ponikvar, Cassidy, Sierra/Joe McNew, Jazmine/Joseph Matautia, Jojo, Jazlene; and so many cousins in our large global Manuel, Ponikvar; and Miller families, and dear friend to so many. Beverly loved her pets beyond measure, and her reunion with those that went before her must have been quite the sight on the other side of the rainbow bridge. In lieu of flowers, please donate in Beverly’s name to Murci’s Mission, a non-profit animal rescue, where Beverly adopted her new puppy, King (Ali’i), last February. www.murcismission.org. Beverly lived her life running on all cylinders and did not waste one precious minute. We will miss our physical force of energy. ALOHA and A HUI HOU Beverly. Beverly’s Celebration of Life will take place at the Sunset Chapel, Fairmount Memorial Park, at 11:00, Saturday, September 21. All are welcome to attend.
