Eine Kleine nacht-practice, plus Five Questions with Mike Leach

The Cougars held a short practice at 8 p.m. on Sunday night. Afterwards, coach Mike Leach answered some questions that little or nothing to do with football.

The practice itself was uneventful, with the biggest news being that wide receiver Dom Williams was in street clothes. The other limited players I saw were Amosa Sakaria, Suli Hameed and T.J. Fehoko. Also, Aaron Porter and Kingston Fernandez have traded numbers. Porter is now No. 43 and Fernandez is rockin' No. 52.

The practice was mostly special teams and scout team work. At the end, the Cougars went over their pregame routine. The highlight, clearly, was Leach talking about Congress, Hawaii and some unique recruiting experiences. The video of that interview is below.
