Montana requires new fishing, hunting licenses starting March 1

FISHING -- Deadlines are fast approaching for hunting and fishing in Montana.

March 1 is the date 2017 fishing licenses are required.
March 15 is the deadline to apply for elk and deer hunting permits.
May 1 is the deadline to apply for moose, sheep, goat and bison licenses
June 1 is the deadline to apply for antlerless deer B and elk B licenses and antelope and licenses.

Get info and apply on the Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks website.
