So a 12-year-old who doesn't know what he's doing wants to putter around a lake in a fishing boat with a 5-horsepower motor. What's the worst thing that could happen? Don't answer that. You might prove you're smarter than the Idaho House Revenue Committee. Committee members killed a bill requiring children under the age of 14 to take a boating safety course and be under adult supervision before driving Jet-skis or motorboats.
