At Simple Mind, Cis has the right idea -- look forward to spring rather than focus on all the problems caused by the snow. The thought hit me yesterday that spring training begins in a little over 6 weeks. Also, Gonzaga and Washington State begin playing their conference schedules in a few days. Then, there's a garden to plan. After the first of the year, of course, we return to some serious blogging here at HBO Central with an early focus on the state Legislature. I have one more day with the kids and then a week to relax and catch up on a lot of odd jobs. Meanwhile, let me know via the comments section or by calling me at home if you need someone to shovel off your roof. The unemployed framer (Brian) who did mine yesterday did a dyne-oh!-might job and will be doing HBOer Steve Sibulsky's today. But he has time to do more as long as the snow persists. I'll leave you with a Kathy Plonka shot of an ice crystal is framed by the snow covered roof of a home at Hauser Lake -- and the daily Wild Card, of course ...
