My daughters and I just returned from the Christmas Creche Exhibit at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints church near our house. More than 700 nativity sets from all over the world--including the one from the Czech Republic above--were displayed under spotlights. It was quite a sight. Some were big. Some were tiny. Many were expertly handcrafted. One was made by children out of empty toilet paper rolls. Definitely worth dropping by if you're in the area. Viewing hours are from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday and Monday and from noon to 9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, with musical performances each evening at 7. 1620 E. 29th Ave.
