‘Bone Tomahawk’ a sturdy Western

Amazon Prime Video
“Bone Tomahawk” is a sturdy American Western with a marvelous sense of character and texture that pits its peaceful settlers against a primitive tribe of cannibals. Kurt Russell leads the rescue posse. R.
In “I’ll See You in My Dreams,” Blythe Danner and Sam Elliott find love the second time around. PG-13.
Also new: “Dazed and Confused” (1993), Richard Linklater’s loving portrait of high school rebellion and conformity in 1976 (R), the recent “The Gambler” with Mark Wahlberg (R), and the animated kids comedy “The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out of Water” (PG).
Streaming TV: “House of Lies: Seasons 1 & 2,” the Showtime series, stars Don Cheadle as the proudly unscrupulous management consultant. Also new: “Mozart in the Jungle: Season 2” with Gael Garcia Bernal. Both shows feature adult language and sexuality.
Netflix
Keira Knightley is the feisty Elizabeth Bennet in “Pride and Prejudice” (2005), with Rosamund Pike, Carey Mulligan, Donald Sutherland and Matthew Macfadyen as the starchy Mr. Darcy. PG.
Also new: the comedies “Meet the Parents” (2000) and “Meet the Fockers” (2004) with Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro (both PG-13), the supernatural comic book thriller “Constantine” (2005) with Keanu Reeves (R), and the kid-friendly “Nanny McPhee” (2006) with Emma Thompson (PG).
Streaming TV: “Nurse Jackie: Seasons 1-7” presents the complete run of the acclaimed Showtime original series starring Edie Falco as a veteran nurse with a prescription drug addiction. Also new: “Battle Creek: Season 1” (2015), the only season of the offbeat crime show created by Vince Gilligan (“Breaking Bad”) and David Shore (“House”), plus “Parenthood: Season 6” (the final season) and “Maron: Season 3.”
Hulu
“CSI: Series Finale Parts 1 & 2” brings the long-running crime procedural to a close, complete with return appearances by original cast members William Petersen and Marg Helgenberger.
HBO Now
Russell Crowe directs and stars in “The Water Diviner” as an Australian man who travels to Turkey in 1919 to find his three sons who went missing in the battle of Gallipoli (R).
Crackle
President Barack Obama is Jerry Seinfeld’s guest in the Season 7 premiere of “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.” Will Ferrell, Steve Martin, Garry Shandling and Kathleen Madigan also guest star this season.
